Prepare to be utterly captivated by the Sun Princess, a ship that truly redefines ocean cruising! Upon stepping aboard, you're greeted by an enchanting blend of elegance and spaciousness, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a luxurious escape. Let's dive into the wonder that is the cabin!

 

Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for—goodbye, shower curtain! Replaced by a sleek glass door, the shower area now shines with sophistication (thank goodness!). While the bathroom is spacious, the swing of the shower door might require a little finesse to navigate, it is a tad tight on exit, but it’s a minor detail in an otherwise stunning space. And let’s talk about the shower: the water pressure is phenomenal, and with multiple settings on the shower-head, you can customize your experience to pure bliss!And ladies, there is a footrest in the show so shaving your legs is a breeze!

 

We loved the thoughtful automatic nightlights. Putting you feet onto the floor, the bedside tables illuminate, and so does the bathroom floor under the sink. You can see in the middle of the night.

 

Not to mention the cabin feels delightfully roomy, offering ample storage for all your essentials. The generously sized deck is perfect for enjoying breathtaking ocean views!

 

With plenty of USB ports near the bed and desk for both A and C chargers, your devices will always be ready for the next adventure.

Coffee lovers rejoice! With not one, not two, but THREE coffee bars scattered throughout the ship, your morning java fix is always just a skip away. My personal favorite? The heavenly Cappuccino with Turmeric—an invigorating way to start the day! The International Café is a buzzing hub that offers delightful snacks around the clock, making it a crowd-favorite destination on board, especially with a full bar nearby.

 

Now, let's talk about the buffet, located on Deck 9. We were blown away by the diverse culinary offerings! I indulged in the lasagna one evening, and let me tell you, it was hands-down the BEST I’ve tasted, surpassing any dish I've enjoyed on any cruise or at any resort worldwide. The main dining room impresses with its elegant appointments and spacious seating, ensuring a relaxed dining experience.I loved the Surf & Turf!

 

For those seeking upscale dining, the Specialty Restaurants are a feast for the senses! Don’t miss UMAI Teppanyaki/Hot Pot—a lively dining adventure that places you at the heart of the action. And then there's LOVE by Britto, an extravagant restaurant filled with the stunning art of the world-renowned artist; every dish is a celebration of creativity and flavor, making for an unforgettable evening.

 

When it comes to entertainment, the Sun Princess is raising the bar! Princess Cruises has clearly set its sights on a more inclusive demographic, featuring shows tailored for all ages. The Arena, designed in the round, accommodates 900 guests and pulsates with energy, presenting 45-minute shows bursting with 80's nostalgia, classic rock anthems, and vibrant Latin rhythms—each performance more exhilarating than the last! My only critique? A lack of cup holders and bar service during the shows detracted a bit from the experience, and while not all seats offer optimal views, the atmosphere more than compensates!

 

For a touch of understated luxury, the Sanctuary is nothing short of breathtaking. Open to all guests with Sanctuary-inclusive balconies and above, it’s a marvelous concept that elevates the cruising experience to new heights.

 

As for cabin service, the Medallion technology is a game-changer! Whether ordering a drink to my cabin or reserving a dining experience, the seamless connection to my Medallion made every request a breeze. But just keep in mind that technology can have the occasional hiccup.

 

Our cabin steward was remarkable, impeccably tidying my space each time I returned—his attention to detail made my stay feel extra special.

 

Restaurant service showed promise but could use a little polishing, as some dining venues experienced lengthy wait times and a slight lag in clearing tables between courses. And the occasional order hiccup. However, I have faith that Princess is committed to making swift adjustments for a flawless dining experience.

 

The onboard shops are a delightful treasure trove! Most staff members were friendly and eager to assist and went out of their way to look for an item you wanted if it was not in your size.

 

In summary, the Sun Princess is a spectacular addition to the Princess fleet, promising to enchant new and seasoned travelers alike. Get ready for a journey that will leave you with lasting memories and a longing to return!
