The 2025 River & Expedition Cruise Show in Germantown, Maryland, was more than just an event—it was Beth Borrego’s dream come to life. From the earliest idea to the final applause, Beth poured her heart, vision, and determination into building something unforgettable. The success not only raised funds for the Alzheimer’s Association and delighted guests with a catered experience, but it also caught the attention of the Cruise Planners Home Office. As a result, Beth has been invited to appear on the Cruise Planners Power Hour on September 10, 2025, to share her insights on creating successful events.
On Saturday, July 26th, 2025, we hosted our highly anticipated River & Expedition Cruise Show at the beautiful BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, Maryland—and what an amazing day it was! With about 110 attendees, the energy in the room was incredible as we came together to celebrate travel, community, and giving back.
