Maya Chan Beach Resort is like going to Gilligan's Island for just a few hours. It's a very cool, laid back mellow place. The landscape is bordered with seashells and driftwood, and the weathered teak furniture invites you to sit and have a beer and a taco. Reservations are limited, and you need to book this as far out as possible, like when you book your cruise.
Nachi Cocom Beach Club is a gem among the options for a day at the beach in Cozumel. There are a number of wonderful things to do in Cozumel, there is no doubt about that. But if you are looking for an all included beach day, where you can go to eat, drink and relax without it being over crowded, then this is the spot for you. Nachi Cocom Beach Club does require a reservation in advance, so book this a few months ahead.
