On the evening of May 7, 2024, we hosted a truly special event: Lavender & Lifestyles, featuring Viking Cruise Lines as our honored presenter. The event was held at the serene Kharis Lavender Fields in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where the natural beauty of the setting provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of inspiration, relaxation, and discovery. In fact, the response was so overwhelming that we added a second evening on May 8th to accommodate everyone who wished to join—making this one of our most memorable events of the season.

Guests were welcomed with a beautifully curated charcuterie grazing table filled with savory and sweet delights, paired perfectly with lavender lemonade freshly prepared on the premises. Before hearing from Viking, attendees were treated to an interactive workshop led by the lavender experts at Kharis, who shared their knowledge about the many varieties of lavender and its versatile uses. Everyone then enjoyed making their own lavender sachets—a keepsake to take home that carried the soothing fragrance of the fields with it. To add to the experience, guests were offered a special discount in the boutique that evening, allowing them to shop lavender-inspired treasures.

 

The highlight of the night was the engaging presentation from Viking Cruise Lines, whose elegant ships and culturally immersive itineraries captivated our guests. Surrounded by the calming scent of lavender, lively conversation, and the excitement of future travel possibilities, the evening felt both exclusive and unforgettable. Lavender & Lifestyles wasn’t just about travel or lavender—it was about creating an atmosphere where guests could learn, connect, and dream about their next journey. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success, and we look forward to creating more memorable experiences like this in the future.
