On October 25, 2022, Rod and I had the incredible opportunity to step aboard the Celebrity Beyond for a pre-inaugural sailing—and what an unforgettable experience it was! Having now sailed on both the Celebrity Beyond and her sister ship, the Celebrity Ascent, we can say with confidence: this is modern cruising at its finest.
During our stay, we toured every cabin category, from the value-packed inside cabins to the beautifully redesigned infinite verandas, where the push of a button transforms your entire stateroom into an open-air retreat. The Concierge and AquaClass staterooms come with added perks and wellness touches, while the suites in The Retreat offer a true luxury experience—some featuring two stories, expansive balconies, and private whirlpool tubs. Whether you're seeking quiet sophistication or an all-out splurge, there's truly something for everyone on board.
We also had the pleasure of dining at every venue—and each one delivered in its own unique way. From the vibrant flavors of Le Petit Chef to the elegance of Fine Cut Steakhouse, and the globally inspired Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Normandie, and Tuscan restaurants, the food and service were consistently superb. We spent time enjoying the lively entertainment, relaxed at the serene spa, and admired the stunning design of the rooftop garden and multi-tiered pool deck. Every detail is infused with style and intention, creating an atmosphere that feels both indulgent and approachable.
